First Stretch Goal UNLOCKED in just ONE Day - Double Tin for All Backers

Custom Double Tin

Oh my gosh, everyone! That was incredible! We unlocked our first stretch goal in less than a day, so now every backer receives a customised double tin in which to store their deck! And if you pledged for two decks, thats two tins, one for each copy of the deck.

As promised, if we are able to customise the lid, we will open discussions with you as to what you might like to see on it, and we will try and create a group design!

The tin stores the cards side-by-side in two piles, and I am hoping to have a sample sent shortly so we can share actual photographs. In the meantime, we will continue our card reveals!

The next stretch goal? Watch out for the following update in the next hour, and help us get an upgrade for everyone - together!

Second Stretch Goal Revealed - Upgrade to Superior Cardstock

Thank you so much for working together and propelling us though the first stretch goal within literally hours of us setting it. Now, every single backer will get a double tin in which to store their deck.

That's a big thing to add into the project, as it costs more and hits up the weight of the package - not only to you from us, but also obviously from the printers to us after production. It was really only possible to include it because you made it possible, in true crowd-funding style.

Now, if we can reach 400 backers, it will be possible for us to upgrade the quality of the cards to the superior cardstock (S33) rather than the standard (S30).

Whilst they are fairly close in quality, and the standard is actually 'very good' compared to most printers, if we can upgrade to the superior cardstock, that would be brilliant! They'll be even more resiliant to bending, just as smooth to shuffle, and more long-lasting, further reducing replacement and waste.

To reach more possible backers, we really have to go outside of our immediate circle, and that's where you - and proper crowdfunding - can actually make a massive impact, for minimal time.

If you can share this campaign link in your personal and group socials, newsletters, blogs or other channels, that would be great - we just need about 60 more backers and then it will be cost-effective for us to upgrade!

So, please share share and share, without being overly spammy, and even if one person takes a look and thinks this deck is for them, that's a big thing when it is multiplied out through the crowd.

First Stretch Goal Revealed - A Double Tin

Custom Double Tin

Following our first day's incredible success in gaining funding in just a few hours, we would like to reward everyone pledging with our first stretch goal - a custom double tin in which to keep your deck!

I am hoping we will also be able to discuss and vote on an idea chosen by all of us together and then created by myself as an group-chosen illustration especially for the cover of the tin.

We will be able to offer this stretch goal to all backers if we reach £25,000, so not very far away!

If you would like to help us reach this goal, earning yourself and everyone a custom tin as part of your existing pledge, please share the project across as many socials as you feel able - it will help us reach beginners and experienced readers who may like this deck!

And to celebrate our success together so far, here is another card reveal - the Star. In this card we focus on the navigation element of the stellar realm, and the symbolism of the star(s) as high attainment and enlightenment. This is a good beginner meaning for the card, as it leads to all others in time.

The lanterns of our aspirations rise into the heavens, guiding us ahead, whilst the Ibis indicates a deeper teaching - being sacred to the god Thoth, it shows us the means of progress towards our goals; speech, our word, and living our truth.

We do not really use the more popular keyword and concept of "hope" in this version, although it can still be read that way by referring perhaps to the small oasis in the distance. This is because we see the Star as an active card in a reading, symbolising the soul's direction, our impulse, our aspirations and inspirations, but more so our will towards the higher. This is not a passive "hope" but rather a vision that draws s and directs us - a far more enabling and empowering reading for the card.

The keywords also unobstrusively indicate the position of this card on the Tree of Life, between Yesod and Netzach, signifying that walking this path, establishing our vision, is the "foundation of victory". In providing these phrases, you can apply them immediately to every reading if you wish, easily picking up the Kabbalah in a very practical manner.
