Tin and 130 Card Deck Proof Print Unboxing! Just arrived an hour ago!

Tin and Second Proof Deck Unboxing

By our Work we are Changed.

With literally supernatural timing, the second proof print of the deck arrived today, with the tin!

This is the print proof from which I can set the template up for placing text on the cards, such as titles and keywords. These will be at the bottom of the cards, with the Kabbalah on the right-side.

Most of the cards do not yet have any text or title on them, as I needed this print proof to calculate the precise location of card cut lines before setting up the text template for all 130 cards.

So, rather than wait until after the campaign closes for the next update, I wanted to share in real-time my experience of opening the package. This is not edited - you will get to see my slight squee of excitement when I see the lid and my dopey happy grin face.

I decided to go for the Rose Key design rather than open it for discussion, as originally suggested, because of the timeline for the production of the deck. I hope that's OK!

Here's a couple of images from the unboxing of this second proof.

You can see more detail, the relative size of the deck (standard tarot size) and my decisions about font and font size for keywords, etc., all in the video.

Thank you once more as we enter the final 12 hours of the campaign, it has been a wild ride and I am grateful for your company along the way.

If you have not yet pledged for the deck, please do consider it on the Kickstarter here, as you will now receive all ten stretch goals we have worked on to reach together. Thank you!

The Worker is Hidden in the Workshop.

Marcus.
